October 2018 FRANCE / ALLEMAGNE 2018 This confrontation between our French team, the World Cup winners, and the "Mannschaft", the World Cup Winners in 2014, is expected to be decisive for qualification for the semi-finals of the Nations League. In a group of 3 with the Netherlands, where only the winner of each group qualifies, each match is decisive. Come and encourage our "double World Cup winners" for this prestigious encounter.
February 2013 FRANCE - ALLEMAGNE 2013 France was defeated by Germany, the second Fifa nation, on February 6 2013 at Stade de France, with a score of 1-2. Despite a good performance overall, and the opening goal by Mathieu Valbuena just before the break (45th minute), the French team could not prevent the German team from winning with a goal from Müller just after the restart (51st minute) and another from Khedira in the 74th minute, thanks to a superb blind pass from his teammate Özil. Didier Deschamps was nevertheless able to console himself with the understanding found between Ribéry and Valbuena, one of the positive points of this France - Germany match at Stade de France.

About the German football team

The German football team, also known as Die Nationalmannschaft ("the national team"), is without doubt one of the most successful national teams in the world.

This is the third team in history to have won the World Cup (after Uruguay and Italy), and the first to have achieved the European Championships - World Cup double in 1972 and 1974. Germany holds the record of eight World Cup finals including four wins (1954, 1974, 1990 and 2014) and six European Championship finals, of which it has won three (1972, 1980 and 1996).

Germany has also finished on the podium in the last four World Cups (2nd in 2002, 3rd in 2006 and in 2010 and 1st in 2014). By winning the World Cup for the fourth time in 2014, the German team equalled the number of victories of Italy, just behind Brazil, which has won five World Cups.
