March 7th to 9th, 2012 GLOBAL SPORT FORUM BARCELONA
The Stade de France was a major partner in the Global Sports Forum for its 3rd edition in Barcelona last week (March 7th to 9th).
The Global Sports Forum Barcelona rests at the crossroads of three environments that are redesigning the framework of traditional sports: the sport concerned itself (the game), sports business, and the impact of sports upon society.
The 2012 edition consisted in thinking beyond traditional issues in order to imagine sports in the future, through conferences and workshops.
As it did in previous years, the Global Sports Forum Barcelona puts the spotlight on certain sports initiatives through the awarding of Trophies:
For this edition, the speakers community 2010-2011 has chosen among the applications 8 sports-related projects which illustrate the "Sports - What's next?" issue.
Stade de France Managing Director Philippe Auroy handed the Stadium Innovation Trophy to Juventus Stadium, congratulating it for its ongoing innovation efforts.
The Stade de France also featured a networking area harbouring its coporate colours as well as those of Orange Business Services; the area was featuring both players' connectivity projects. What's next?
