The Stade de France is the reference among sports venues in France; that is where all of the major events have taken place since 1998. It remains the stadium for all French people and for all French national teams, so it was only natural that Orange should be associated with this symbolic place for French sports. Orange has been an official Stade de France partner since July 1st, 2009. But the France Telecom Group has had a box in the stadium for the past ten years, and our Orange Business Services entity has been working with the Consortium for many years, particularly on the access systems into the stadium.
Our objective is to use the Stade de France as a technological showcase around sports. Above all, we wish to put forward our technological know-how when it comes to modern sports facilities. That is why we can be seen in various parts of the stadium, promoting our products and services (consumer goods and business goods such as access control, IPTV etc).
